10.000 Meters Up is a short documentary filmed in the Romanian Carpathians, which follows the mountain itineraries of a group of runners through Retezat, Fagaras, Bucegi, Ciucas and Ceahlau, accumulating 10,000 meters of positive level difference in less than a week.
The documentary film "La Cota 10.000" (10,000 Meters Up) brings together two of the most beautiful things we know: Romania and the mountain. Even though, physically, Cota 10.000 does not exist, the documentary follows a legendary expedition through the Carpathians, passing through the Retezat, Făgăraș, Bucegi, Ciucaș, and Ceahlău mountains, totaling 10,000 meters of positive elevation gain.

The film's description is available on IMDb.com and Filmfreeway.com.
During the first months after the official release, the documentary "La Cota 10.000" was only available at film festivals (publishing on a public streaming platform no longer allowed entry into festivals). The YouTube release was made at the end of 2021, after the film festival jurying process had been completed. Until then, the documentary could not be published on a free streaming platform, but only on VoD (Video on Demand) platforms, as required by festival organizers.

The premiere of the documentary took place on November 13th at the Transylvania Mountain Festival, and the festival's jury included "La Cota 10.000" in the OFFICIAL SELECTION FOR BEST FILM 2020.
