Logitech is the number 1 peripherals choice for gamers when it comes to PC gaming.
The G502 Hero mouse was considered one of the best gaming mouse ever since his release and many of his owners wanted the wireless version.
When the G502 LightSpeed Hero was released earlier this year everybody was amazed by his performance and speed.
This is a fast one! How do we sell this really fast wireless mouse to the new generation of gamers?
Hiphop is one of the most trending music genres in Romania these days and it’s by far one the favorite genre when it comes to the young gaming community.
We chose an almost trap instrumental, and brought on board two of the fastest known rappers in Romania, Kepa & Cojo to set an example for the community that we wanted to engage into our Logitech Speedchallenge!
Alex Mocanu, an rising up comedian active in the local hiphop scene, was invited to present the idea in a short video content.
The video was filmed and directed like a music video for a new song that Kepa just released on his YouTube channel, having Cojo as a guest.  
In fact, Alex was challenging the fans of the two MC’s to write and publish on YouTube the fastest verse they can spit, using the hashtag #speedchallenge and including the words provided by us. All the words were based on the mouse specs and values.


The results were amazing!

160 songs
 were generated by users and uploaded on YouTube with the hashtag #speedchallenge

over 200.000 views
of the original #speedchallenge video on YouTube and 150.000 views on Facebook

More than 140.000 people viewed the user generated content that mentioned the campaign, the products and his values
The video got reactions from vloggers, websites and TV shows, cumulating more than half million views only on YouTube. Overall, 1 million people were reached by our message.
Sustained by the PR campaign and the POS implementation in stores, the G502 Lightspeed Hero was 57% sell out from total sell in.
#speedchallenge hashtag is still alive on social media and songs are published as you see this video!
